missoni was featured in a mag some time ago.  I snipped this image and have had it in the background of my inspiration board, but haven't purposely looked at it for the longest time... but it has stayed with me in spirit... and acted as my inspiration for my latest crochet project, but I didn't realise until I was well on my ripply way.

 

 I am sure you can relate.

Funnily my blanket resembles the image or colouring in no way whatsoever... but the missoni thing was happening deeply in my conscience.

Rosita is a beautiful woman with an amazing aesthetic... I want to be just like her when I grow up!

down time

How nice it is to be enjoying this Easter break at home, leisurely doing all things that make my heart sing. Have just started this new version of Deb's Liberty Bliss, crocheting with some Amy Butler's Belle Organic DK, Rowan Wool/Cotton and Felted Tweed and a good old favourite Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK.  Autumnal colours are creeping into my work at the moment, mimicking what's happening outside.  The warmth of the the coral and butterscotch, with the cool of the ice blue.  It's a great project to work with on a lazy weekend, repetitive rows, happily sitting with my little family, enjoying each others company.
